AccorHotels to utilise Cloud-based TourConnect’s universal rate format for Australian contracts

TourConnect is pleased to announce an agreement with AccorHotels Australia, Australia’s largest hotel operator, to streamline AccorHotels annual contracting process.  AccorHotels will now be able to manage the distribution of annual rates for over 200 properties across the region using TourConnect’s Cloud-based platform.

TourConnect will provide AccorHotels with the ability to manage contracts with individual tour operators and wholesalers while maintaining specific nett rates for each partner.  Unlike the manual process of distributing rates each year, TourConnect will now allow AccorHotels to store rates and contracts from previous years so they can simply be modified for future contracts.

AccorHotels’ tour operator and wholesale partners will now receive each property’s rates in a universal format that is not only easy to data load, but can also be automated into tour operator booking systems using TourConnect’s API.  The reduced manual labour associated with loading rates represents a significant cost savings for both AccorHotels and their tour operator and wholesale partners.  Making this annual process more efficient, and ultimately automating the process, will ensure more of AccorHotels products and special offers get into the market, with better accuracy and supporting information.
