By January 17, 2015 April 6th, 2015 Announcements, TourConnect Team

After the success of adding Geoffrey to our team recently, we want more!

TourConnect is hiring again, and we’re looking for a top Front-End Web Application Developer to be based in Dallas, Texas (Frisco to be exact.)

Here’s the scoop:

We’re on a mission to change the travel industry.
TourConnect is building a community that will allow tour operators, hotels and travel suppliers to connect and work together. We’ll apply technology to solve common challenges faced by suppliers and contractors so that they can better serve the agents and travelers that have come to depend on their service.

You’ll have a role in shaping the future of TourConnect.
We’re a young start-up with a team of 9. We have an office in Sydney and share an office in Frisco with our sister company, Call-Em-All. You’ll get a chance to wear many hats and directly impact the direction and success of TourConnect. As your skills develop and our company grows, many different opportunities, experiences, and challenges will present themselves. We hope you’re up to the task.

We love what we do and take pride in our company culture.
Here are some of our guiding principles:

Our service is simple, easy to use, and reliable.
We demand ethical behavior of ourselves and our customers.
We treat each other with respect and help one another grow individually and as a team.
We strive for a fun, flexible, and casual work environment that produces professional and high quality results.
We maintain a healthy work-life balance and are positive contributors to our community

Front-End Web Application Developer
JavaScript – Backbone, React, Node.js

You’ll be an integral part of a small engineering team with many years of experience. We’ll expect you to learn quickly and make critical and significant contributions. In fact, we’re just getting started on the next version of our web application and you’ll play a significant role in its development.

The new application consists of front end code written in JavaScript using Backbone/React that talks to a REST API running on Node. You’ll need a solid JavaScript foundation with strong CSS/HTML skills to be successful and must have a keen eye for design and usability.

If you’re interested, we’d love to see your work. It could be anything from a side project or your github profile.

To apply, please submit a cover letter and your resume to joinourvision@tourconnect.com
